What we hire in Lancashire

The flagship AV package, scoped to your Lancashire venue.

Lancashire venues split between converted-mill spaces, stately country houses, hotel conference suites and civic spaces. The flagship rig adapts: warm festoon and uplighting for the mill rooms, restrained kit for the ballrooms.

  • Lectern with comfort confidence monitor (your slides where you can see them)
  • Four wireless mics: handheld, lapel or headset
  • Room-tuned PA, from a two-speaker setup up to d&b for larger rooms
  • HD projection screen or LED video wall for the room size
  • Stage and audience lighting where it adds, never where it doesn’t
  • One operator on site, watching every level, every minute

Packages from £118 (two-speaker PA, dry hire collected from our Salford workshop) up to fully operated Lancashire events.

Lancashire venue types we cover

From a single meeting room through to a multi-room conference day, the rig is scoped to the venue type, not a stock layout.

Converted-mill venues

Exposed brick and steel-beam mill venues for weddings, gala dinners and creative-industry conferences. Warm festoon plot included.

Country house ballrooms

Stately country houses for gala dinners, awards and AGMs. Warm uplighting that flatters the room.

Hotel conference suites

Lancashire town-centre hotels for AGMs, panels and product launches. Predictable load-in and AV-friendly rooms.

Civic + community venues

Civic halls and community venues for charity nights, AGMs and presentation evenings.

Plus university spaces, golf clubs, country-park hotels and a long list of Lancashire meeting rooms across the county.

What our clients say

★★★★★

“I am part of a volunteer team who run an annual arts festival featuring performances, events and talks. The quality of the kit supplied is exceptional. We particularly appreciate the help and advice that Steven offers before the festival.”

Pete Liggins

★★★★★

“We hired Steven for the late May bank holiday weekend for our Beer Festival. He came recommended to us and the recommendation was spot on. The sound and lighting provided was fantastic.”

Bill Rankin

★★★★★

“Utterly professional in every respect. Steven provided a full band setup (stage, PA, lights, live mixing) in a non-conventional 5m x 35m space for my wedding. The setup worked perfectly and the band sounded the best I have heard them in any venue.”

AV hire in Lancashire: questions we hear most

Straight answers, the ones Lancashire event teams ask before booking.

How much does AV hire in Lancashire cost?

It depends on the room and the day. Entry is a two-speaker PA at £118 dry hire collected from our Salford workshop. A delivered package with lectern, mics and screen for a 100 to 300 guest Lancashire event is from £400. A fully operated event day at a Lancashire venue is typically from £2,000.

How quickly can you get AV kit to a Lancashire venue?

We’re Salford-based, so the van is rolling within an hour of confirmation for most Lancashire addresses. For same-day swap-outs we can usually drive a spare in within an hour or two depending on traffic.

What if our Lancashire venue already has installed AV?

Often the venue’s installed system is sized for background music or general conferencing, not for clean speech reinforcement and a usable recording. We can supplement (mics, recording, lighting) or replace where the installed kit will not hold the see-and-hear guarantee. The walkthrough is where we decide.

Can you collect dry-hire kit straight from your Salford workshop?

Yes. Dry-hire kit (from £118 for a two-speaker PA) is collected by appointment from our Salford workshop. The lectern rig fits in a hatchback, the full PA needs a small van. Bring photo ID and a payment card.

How quickly can you respond to a Lancashire enquiry?

Same working day. Steven answers his own enquiries. If you send the form before 4pm we’ll get a written response back the same day, with a date for a free venue walkthrough.

Do you cover venues outside Lancashire?

Yes. The regular run covers Salford, Greater Manchester (Stockport, Trafford, Bolton), Cheshire, Lancashire and Liverpool to Leeds. See the Locations hub for the full list.

Advice to Lancashire event organisers

Four things to get right at a Lancashire venue

Practical guidance for organisers running events across Lancashire.

Confirm pass and access workflow early

Tenanted offices, secure sites and stadium suites need crew names submitted ahead of time. Confirm with your venue contact the day before to avoid a stand-around at reception.

Pre-book the load-in window

Theatre, hotel and busy-venue loading bays run on strict timetables. Pre-book the slot with the stage door or events team and plan smaller-footprint kit where it’s tight.

Plan around rush-hour traffic

Most of the routes into our coverage area grind from late afternoon. If doors are at 6pm, plan a load-in well before 4pm so the van isn’t sitting in traffic at handover.

Walk the room before quoting it

Mixed ceiling heights, irregular floor plans and reflective hard surfaces all change the rig. We always walk a new venue before sending a final number.
