How much does AV hire in Manchester cost?
It depends on the room and the day. A two-speaker PA package starts at £118 dry hire. The flagship AV lectern package is from £1,000 equipment-only or £2,000 fully operated. Larger conferences and gala dinners are quoted per event after a free venue walkthrough, so we can size the kit to the audience.
What is included in the flagship lectern package?
A wooden lectern with a confidence monitor on the speaker side, four wireless microphones (handheld, lapel or headset, your pick), a room-tuned PA, an HD projection screen with stand projector and an operator who stays for the event if you choose the operated tier. Most Manchester AGMs, panels and gala dinners run on this rig.
How quickly can you respond to a booking enquiry?
Same working day. The ST | AV team answer enquiries directly, not an agency mailbox. If you send the form before 4pm we will get a written response back the same day.
Do you operate the kit on the day, or just drop it off?
Both. Three service levels: dry hire (you collect and operate), delivered (we set up and tune, you run the day), and operated (we stay through the event). For AGMs, panels and gala dinners we recommend operated, because the moment a mic battery dies you want someone already there to swap it.
Do you cover venues outside Manchester city centre?
Yes. Greater Manchester boroughs (Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Bolton), Cheshire, Lancashire, and Liverpool to Leeds for the regular run. For streamed events we go further (London, Birmingham). The map above shows the routine service area.
What if my venue already has installed AV?
Often the venue’s installed system is built for background music, not a full business event. We can supplement (mics, projection, lighting) or replace where needed. The recce is the moment we work out which.
Do you do trade pricing for production companies?
10% to 15% off list price on dry hire if you collect, operate and return without needing our technical support. Defined by independence, not job title. Trade pricing details.
